About overhead-garage-door1
The most common material used in garage doors
Another common material used in making a garage door is steel. Unlike garage doors made of wood which needs a lot of maintenance, metal or steel garage doors does not. Many would think of it more much expensive than any other type because of its durability and strength.
Steel garage doors make classic look and can be personalized, just like any other type. Standard dimensions of steel garage doors range from 8' to 18' in width and 6'6" to 8' in height. It also has warranties and is longer than of wood. Steel doors are available in uninsulated, insulated, and double skin steel. It also has one-layer (non-uninsulated single layer of steel), two-layer (consist of a galvanized steel outer skin and vinyl-backed insulation to provide quiet operation) and three-layer (have an additional layer of durable galvanized steel to protect the insulation on both sides, increase dent resistance and provide ultra-quiet operation) garage doors.
For garage door repair and installation please contact garage door service Torrance for more details.
